So... I wanna kidnap them. Is that so wrong? Just wondering. Because seriously, I do. I don't even know how to properly articulate how adorable this family is. Well, you can probably tell just by looking at the pictures. I met Annemarie at a networking event a while ago, and have since taken some headshots for she and her hubby Kevin -- and now these family photos. They are such a lovelly family, and I do have to say that they were THE best posers EVER! I typically tend to provide a mix of candids with a few posed shots, but with the time we had and desired end result in mind, more posed images seemed to be the best approach. They rocked it! I offered up a little guidance, (and a few lame jokes) and they morphed into these SUPERSTARS. I told them to do something, and imagine - they just, like... DID it! It was miraculous! Kevin is the brave father to the four incredibly beautiful, kindhearted and intelligent young women you see below. And can't forget the handsome and strapping young lad! Kevin recently accepted a new position as District Superintendent for the Maritime District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada -- (not a mouthful at all!) and I wish him all the best with his newly accepted role. He even invited me to tag along for ice cream on the waterfront after the session with the fam (I felt like the sixth kid! I suppose being one of five children myself, I felt right at home. What can I say!?) What he didn't know is that food is definitely the way to my heart - particularly when it involves chocolate AND peanut butter in one decadent concoction... so he definitely earned some big time brownie points with me! Then there's the lovely Annemarie. We seem to get along famously and have a tendency to get into these lenghty phone chats -- I'd say we are kindred spirits. She's the owner of Trombe L'oeil Muralhttp://www.annemariejohnson.ca www.annemariejohnson.ca and is an extremely talented award winning artist - a mural/marble painter, faux finisher and Italian plaster applicator (to name a few!) Her art is available at several locations in Halifax. Actually, Annemarie and I have been discussing teaming up on a unique art collaboration project that I am really excited about. Stay tuned! I have a gooooood feeling about it! Thanks for the great session!
